Span Academy is a gateway to the world of Transfusion Medicine, the one stop knowledge portal for practicing doctors of transfusion medicine as well as current students to acquire information on Transfusion Medicine. Apart from knowledge, this academy also emphasizes on building and developing a professional outlook towards practicing Transfusion Medicine.

The vision of Span Academy is to give you a deeper insight into Transfusion Medicine, its products and their uses and developments made in the fraternity. At the same time, the academy aims to help you connect with experts and leaders of this field for the future of the Fraternity.

Span Academy is a not-for-profit initiative from Span Healthcare Private Limited - a company focused exclusively on meeting the needs and challenges of Transfusion Medicine and Hematology fraternity. Started in 2005, Span provides a spectrum of products that address Blood Collection, Separation, Screening, Storage and Processing by partnering with global leaders in the provision of these products and services. Span aims to be the transfusion community's primary, single-stop solution provider.

Span's mission is to serve the community by partnering with care-givers and bringing home leading edge technologies that enhance the standard of the medical practice in India.

Sanjay Ganapathy

(Chairman & Managing Director)

Sanjay brings years of experience, gained in India and the United States, in the field of Transfusion Medicine. He is the founder of SPAN and has been at its helm since its inception in 2005. Sanjay is a Chartered Accountant by education and also has a Masters in Accounting from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Vidya Mulky (Ph.D- Econ.)

(Program Manager, Span Healthcare)

Overall in charge of SPAN Academy, which closely interacts with the academic community in areas of transfusion medicine. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked in India across industry, academia and government- both at the national and the state levels. She is passionate about research and analysis, especially in economics, public policy and management education. Her specialities include consultancy, start-ups, report writing, teaching and academic programs’ coordination. She has consulted with: iDeCK (Infrastructure Development Corporation (Karnataka) Ltd.; e2e Peoples' Practices and Innoversant Solutions.

Pankaj Kaul has been there from the day SPAN started and he has helped build the organization with the team of 6 that were there on Day 1. He is now the Director and has earned the right to be counted among the key leaders that will take SPAN to the next step on the ladder.

Mr. Ravikumar NB

Director - CFO

Ravikumar has had an impact from the day he joined SPAN just over 10 years ago. As a CFO, he has given uncompromisingly to creating the structure that is the backbone of the functioning of SPAN – ERP, ISO, Process Management and Controls, Reporting Formats…the list is long and flattering. Ravi is a self-starter – he looks for solutions that improve outcomes without being asked to. He has brought a much-needed flavour of professionalism to SPAN

Rehan Ansari

Rehan has grown from a young apprentice 14 years ago to a leader who understands the market and customers with a maturity, way beyond his years. He is a customer focused individual who gets things done.

Ravikanth Adapa

General Manager- South & West

Ravikanth Adapa is one of the senior-most members of SPAN and has grown into an astounding leader and manager. He has a long record of strong contributions to the company.
